THE DANGER OF A SINGLE STORY

In this talk Nigerian novelist Chimamanda Adichie warns us about the risk of reducing a human being or a group of people to a single narrative.

The single story creates stereotypes, and the problem with stereotypes is not that they are untrue, but that they are incomplete. They make one story become the only story.
